MOROCCAN AMERICAN BRIDGES 2007 EVENT PROGRAM

The event consists of three days of core activities: two days of industry sessions held in Casablanca and one day centering on The Young Moroccan Entrepreneur Competition in Rabat. The Young Moroccan Entrepreneur Competition and the industry sessions are organized in partnership with AIESEC and the American Chamber of Commerce in Morocco (AMCHAM) respectively. The event is scheduled for the week of May 14th, 2007. Expected attendance will include over 150 Moroccan professionals from the U.S. and Morocco.

Young Moroccan Entrepreneur Competition -2nd Edition

The Young Moroccan Entrepreneur Competition (YMEC)-2nd Edition offers contestants an opportunity to develop strategic business plans to be evaluated by an AMPA panel. On the day of the event, the panel will review the top business proposals as selected by AIESEC executives and professors from the International Institute for Higher Education in Morocco. The panel will also hold several entrepreneurial sessions, and eventually select up to three winners. Prizes will include a monetary allocation, and free coaching from U.S. and Morocco-based consultants.

The winner of the previous YMEC edition has been able to start a very successful biotech business, and was recently proclaimed best start up of the year by the Prime Minister of Morocco Mr. Driss Jettou.
