Hello! I'm making a short film about an Arab couple dealing with east/west dynamics in their relationship and am seeking NYC-based actors. I need ONE male lead, a religious 30 year old Moroccan man, which requires the ability to act on many intense emotional notes as well as with an arab accent. And ONE female lead, a 20 year old free spirited middle eastern girl that was born in America (requires an intense crying scene). I know this is very short notice, and I apologize as there were issues with my originally casted actors, but if you do happen to be available and looking to build your portfolio, I would love to do a screen test sometime this week. I will provide food, transportation, credit and copy, but I'm unable to pay. The days I'll be shooting are Nov. 28th, 29th, and 30th...I know, short notice and again sorry about that!! If you are interested, let me know and I'll send you the script and details. If not, would you happen to know anyone that could fit the part that would be interested, either as male or female lead?
