American To the American man whose wife took the money and ran: I am berry sorry for what happened to you . There is good and bad in all nationalities as well as rich and poor. We can't label all Moroccans for what 1 person did. I am dating a man from midelt morocco whom I have met online and I'm crazy in love with him. I hope my situation turns out better than yours did. We have been talking of visits and visas. I know you are truly devastated at how this woman did you. I am very sorry for your loss but don't let what she did turn you against these people. Our USA women do this and worse everyday .i do not understand visas but I do understand people moving to find a better life. Good luck to you in the future. |

... I was manipulated by a Morrocan woman whom I met online, which was a mistake on my part. We communicated through the internet for a year and then I traveled to Morroco to meet her. We feel in love or so I thought. I applied for a visa for her with intent on marriage. The visa was granted and she moved to US and we were married. My now wife told me her parents were struggling in Morocco and they needed financial help so I co-signed for a second mortgage on our home totaling $30,000. When the funds arrived my wife took the money and filed for a divorce. I was stuck with the $30,000. debt and she apparently used the money to purchase a home for her parents in Marakish. I am not a wealthy person and really feel betrayed. Yes it is my fault that I believed this woman that she loved me, but I was tricked, and her deception gained her a visa to the US and $30,000. of money that was essentially stolen from me. I am moving on with my life, but I have a bad memory of Morroco due to the experience that I had. |

Engineer Do you know if the Moroccans can get their social security benefits while in Morocco . I believe there was a petition that was circulated a few months ago to address this issue . |

... This is valuable information for someone applying for any kind of visa. I wish i had this information available to me when i needed it. The talk really removes any ambiguity about getting a visa. To summarize what the miss said is: If you have money, it's easier for you to get a visa, otherwise stay put right where you are. 7-8 years i invited a relative, she was denied a visa, last year i re invited her and got the visa, She spent 3 weeks with us and left. Btw, She asked me, Where are the Americans because she saw more Asians than Caucasians:)) |
