Better People

It is best to let go of it all when it is no longer fun

As image still counts more than what you have done

You can only try to fix what is broken for so long

I cannot taste that flavor nor can I play along

So you think to walk away with many things glued on you

Counting on time to erase what it has colored in blue

Searching for a place to help you turn another page

Relying on your wisdom to move you to a different stage

You look up the sky and you see the white clouds moving

Wind swinging trees left and right as if waving goodbye

You can neither go with them

Nor can you make them stay

It is still tough despite that this is not the first time

Why serve a sentence when you have committed no crime?

You thought it would get easier but it is not the case

Why give-in to times when there is very little grace?

That’s when you realize to carefully choose your garden

To go-in in the right season and selectively pick your flower

Its scent could be weak or it could have a lot of power

Some people will be people;

Others will be better people
