Steel

I am breathing again

After suffocating by anything defining you

It's been a long time,

That you’ve been getting away with the crime

It had to end!!

I was almost gone! For what?

You had me looking for a piece

To give myself some peace

Then I thought of those who care

Couldn't let their hearts tare

Unlike you, I am not selfish!!

You are still displaying the same arrogance

But this time the thug in me is out

To put you right in your place

To settle what you won't forgo

To bury the hopes of many years ago.

You took offense of what I said

I know that raised a flag,

The truth hurts, doesn't it?

It was for your own good

My words were very strong

But you know they weren't wrong

You chose to reply with malice

What kind of person are you, God!!

You're growing too slow,

Pick up the pace!

Or you will miss the show

These days the trains are faster

Hurry up!

They'll look at you with laughter

I am made of steel

Always solid

Doesn't matter how hard I am slammed

You couldn't understand how I felt

I don't break, but I do melt

It takes the burning heat of passion

You are too cold

Showing no compassion

I'll never melt for you

Now you know!!!
